Bus section

[edit]

"Deregulation of bus services began in October 1986, since that time bus operators have been able to start new services, change services, or cancel existing services by giving 42 days' notice to the relevant authorities; in Scotland this has since changed to 56 days notice with an additional 14 day consultation period over and above this." The 56 day notice is just the same as in England, so this line is incorrect. I would change it, however I am not sure where the 14 day consultation period comes into it? Does anyone know more?

Also, I think the bullet points for each of the main operators could be expanded to say which operator runs what. I know First are the main operator in the city, and Arriva run to the west/south west of the city, but I don't really know anything else. Just and idea I thought I'd share.
