Container Port
[edit]On 18 July 2020, Benin Terminal welcomed the "CCNI Arauco", a large container ship. [1] This 300-metre long, MAERSK ship weighs over 100,062 tonnes. This ship has a loading capacity of 8,700 twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) containers. The port has at least 10 berths. Benin Terminal's handles containers intended for Benin and bordering countries. [2]
