Potentially Expanding on the Article

[edit]

Hello, I wanted to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how much has been written on transgender people in China. This is one of two topics that I will choose to help improve -- for this article, I feel that there are some statements that are either opinionated or without citations (e.g. "China and greater China... have transphobia). While that statement may or may not be correct, I feel like it is a very strong one to be making. I would also want to work on the history of transgender movements in China, as I feel that there is now more literature to expand upon what has already been written. Finally, I think that there is a very interesting relationship between gender identity, sex change, and the Chinese legal system that could potentially be informative as well. "The attitudes of younger generations that have been less exposed to Maoist ideologies are beginning to reflect more accepting attitudes towards members of the LGBTQ+ community.[7]"

[edit]

Shouldn't there be a context of specific examples about Maoism opposing transgenders? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.119.169.37 (talk) 06:33, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lead sentence needs definition

[edit]

The lead sentence needs to have a definition of the title topic. This can either be bolded, or not bolded if it doesn't make sense to include the title string in the first sentence. But in either case, the definition needs to occur in sentence #1. Mathglot (talk) 19:54, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article title should be changed to "Transgender people in China" or "Transgender rights in China". It's grammatically incorrect as it stands — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.19.248.250 (talk) 11:24, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, I am a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, and I am also transgender
I disagree with this view. In practice, in my underground Marxist-Leninist-Maoist community, I see discussions in support of LGBT rights. Even if there are occasional opponents, a consensus
can be reached after a debate At that time, a left-wing friend in the United States said in Telegram that he hated LGBTQ very much, and many people in the community said that they did not understand why he hated it. (The reality is that he is very disgusted by excessive LGBTQ political correctness.)

The Marxist-Leninist-Maoist group in China is very fragmented and can be simply divided into above-ground and underground parties.
Underground parties are generally scattered all over the place. Some advance workers' rights and rights in reality; Some take the form of underground forums dedicated to the Enlightenment, the dissemination of theories and the sharing of practical experiences
The reason why it is an underground party, fundamentalists usually think that China has completely taken the capitalist road revision, usually oppose the current government, this ideology is not allowed, the government will interfere with the platform to delete the content posted, and sometimes even go directly to the
door As far as the composition of the underground party is concerned, most of them are still students and young people who have just started working. We, the young people, have been indoctrinated with nationalist sentiments from an early age by the Ground Party and its affiliated systems, instilled with the strong side of China, and so on. However, as we get older, come into contact with social reality or gain experience or learn to climb over the wall to see social injustice, we will change from the original ideological type.
Speaking from a personal point of view, I believe that more and more people will choose communism, the government system of the United States was infiltrated by the Soviet Union, even the two representatives around Roosevelt at the Yalta Conference were all Soviet spies, and there were also a large number of
spies in Europe Everyone will choose their own interpretation according to their own experience, for example, some people are more influenced by the positive propaganda of Europe and the United States on the Internet (this can be posted on Chinese Internet platforms), and may choose neoliberal ideology (their speech is usually not banned, of course, they will also be banned and visited by affecting the stability of the social structure.), I will not repeat it in limited space, if you are interested, you can ask me
A very rough and distorted passage describes the situation of the fundamentalist Marxist-Leninist-Maoist community in China. Hopefully, this will help to understand the progressive nature of the underground Marxist-Leninist-Maoist organization in China.

2019 legislative recommendations

[edit]

I did not mean to say any legislation passed, only that China accepted the recommendations from the UN group.[1] If you have any updates, that would help too. CurryCity (talk) 11:50, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
