Womyn-born-womyn - Shiella Jeffries section

Is this section DUE? It seems to be a summary of her views on trans women and analysis of trans healthcare but it doesn't touch on transfeminism. The book cited in the source doesn't meaningfully or directly engage with the subject. Further, the prose meant to tie Jeffries to the subject, a pronounced opponent of transfeminism, is not supported by RS. Jeffries' own article bares no mention of notability for engagement with transfeminism itself, which reflects my understanding of her work.

Surely, her views diverge from transfeminist ones, but I don't feel that merrits its own section. "Radical feminism and transfeminism" and "Transphobia in radical feminism" seem to accomplish the goals of this section but do a better job linking these to the subject. You're absolutely right. Off-topic in this article except in an "opposing views" section, which the article does not have. I've removed it. Skyerise (talk) 06:20, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
Thanks! I didn't want to just pop in and yoink a section for my first edit here. Filiforme1312 (talk) 10:08, 12 March 2023 (UTC)

Questionable emphasis on Emi Koyama

Why does the article emphasise and rely on multiple quotes from Emi Koyama? There is no BLP for them, which leads to doubts as to why an article should be pinned so much on their writing.

If they do not meet WP:PERSON, then the quotes about their personal views on Transfeminism should be reconsidered. -- (talk) 14:19, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

I agree this article gives WP:UNDUE weight to Emi Koyama. It seems like she has a lot of opinions about who transfeminism includes for someone who isn't even a trans woman. I might move her quote down to the body of the article. Tdmurlock (talk) 09:11, 3 March 2023 (UTC)
I also agree. It's sourced only to her manifesto, a primary source. To introduce it would require a secondary source. I've removed the poorly supported material. Skyerise (talk) 13:01, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
