Overall: Good to go eh? Hawkeye7 (discuss) 23:18, 30 June 2021 (UTC)
@Hawkeye7 and Maury Markowitz: I saw this in the approved list and I think this can be hookier, possibly going in the final spot as a quirky hook. What about:
- ALT1: ... that the Trans-Canada Skyway made Hockey Night in Canada possible?
- ALT2: ... that the Trans-Canada Skyway allowed carolers from across Canada to sing together on television?
Thoughts? Z1720 (talk) 13:28, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- I'm certainly good with ALT1. But I did change it to Skyway because I think that is even cooler sounding. I'm still waiting on the official citation from CBC archives for the second one though, so I think ALT1 is the way to go. Maury Markowitz (talk) 14:06, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- My opinion is that Trans Canada Microwave is more likely to catch the reader's attention because many will think of the microwave machine, causing them to click on the hook to find out how a microwave made a television program possible. However, as the nominator I will give deference to you. Z1720 (talk) 15:57, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
- ALT1 approved. I'm not seeing the reference to Christmas carols in the source [1] for ALT2. Hawkeye7 (discuss) 19:36, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
