Redundant articles
We have two redundant articles Trane and Trane (company). Obviously, they should be merged into Trane. There is only one other article in which this name is involved, John Coltrane whose nickname was "Trane." Steelbeard1 (talk) 14:14, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- Since the text is identical between both articles, I went ahead and merged the two articles. Steelbeard1 (talk) 14:29, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
Worker deaths
WP:NOTNEWS, Wikipedia:Notability (events). No lasting effects, no geographical scope or depth/duration/diversity of coverage. According to ILO, at least 60,000 people die every year on construction sites. Six years after the event, has there been a change in legislation as a result of this incident, or a legal case and resulting punishment? Is it held up as an example of poor procedure or discussed in RS? Neil S. Walker (t@lk) 16:43, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
- Agree wholeheartedly. This type of thing is a routine occurrence and may be newsworthy, but is not encyclopedic. 32.218.33.171 (talk) 18:16, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
