[edit]The xD is not the same as the Ist. 72.189.170.72 14:37, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- Looking at the Scion xD Wiki site, it says it is a re-badged ist. Unless you can prove otherwise, My vote would be to Merge. Figgie123 (talk) 16:06, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep, it may be a re-badge but the ist is not sold in English speaking countries, the xA, xB, xC and xD are. If any thing, ist should be merged into the appropriate xD article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jerem43 (talk • contribs) 20:15, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- Keep, the xD should get its own article as the xB isn't merged with the Toyota bB and the tC with the Toyota Avenesis. OfficerPhil (talk)
- Merge, the same car should be on the same page, even if the names are different. Jeshii (talk) 04:47, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
The Merge
[edit]On the WikiProject Automobiles[1] page, there appears to be a consensus that the country of origin's convention be adopted.

i have read the article about the scion xA. there seem to be some anomolies. the fact that it was sold as a Yaris in UK is not true. i dont think toyota ist was ever sold in UK, it has been in new zealand (most likely from import). the artical mensions that it uses a 1.5 L engine. i once went to the scion website when the xA was still in production. it uses a 1.3 L according to that.
i am not 100% sure if my facts are right, but that article does not seem correct to me. thank you 61.6.216.15 17:30, 15 August 2007 (UTC) |
