Reviewer: Mediran (talk · contribs) 11:26, 8 November 2013 (UTC) I will review. Thanks. Mediran (tc) 11:26, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) I say put the review on hold, as the article has been listed at the Guild of Copy Editors and is yet to receive a copy-edit. ---- Kailash29792 (talk) 04:40, 14 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. BTW, I've closed the GCE request so I can work on this review. Also, @Koala15, I'm very sorry for the delay, but don't worry as the review will come (soon). Also, as a start, I've noticed that the "Accolades" section is too lengthy and unsourced. Please add some sources to it. Thanks. Mediran (tc) 09:12, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the c/e request please see the conversation here. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 23:42, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If any one has seen the film, pls reduce the plot to less than 700 words. Without that, the article cannot pass its GA review. ---- Kailash29792 (talk) 04:50, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox
  • Looks good. No problems.
Lead
  •  Resolved Change "the film is the sequel to Toy Story." to "it is the sequel to the 1995 film Toy Story."?
  •  Resolved Change "The film returns many of the original characters and voices from Toy Story and introduces several new characters, including Jessie, Barbie, and Mrs. Potato Head." to "Many of the original characters and voices from Toy Story returned and several new characters, including Jessie (Joan Cusack), Barbie (Jodi Benson), and Mrs. Potato Head (Estelle Harris), were introduced."
  •  Resolved In "Disney initially envisioned the film as a direct-to-video sequel and Toy Story 2 began production in a building separated from Pixar and was much smaller scale, with most of the main Pixar staff working on A Bug's Life (1998).", change it to "Disney initially envisioned the film as a direct-to-video sequel. Toy Story 2 began production in a building separated from Pixar, in a small scale, as most of the main Pixar staff were busy working on A Bug's Life (1998).
Plot
  •  Resolved Link yard sale
  •  Resolved Avoid using contractions, it is inappropriate because it is "too informal".
  •  Resolved Try to reduce it to at least 700 words per WP:FILMPLOT. For example, remove unnecessary plot details because it still works without it.
Production, etc.
  • Looks good.
Music
  •  Resolved Try to add sources at the "Professional ratings" table. Although an external link is there, use a ref tag. See Template:Album ratings for examples.
Critical response
  •  Resolved Italicize "Toy Story 2"
Accolades
  •  Resolved? Try to summarize it. It is too lengthy and hard to read or list what were the wins and nominations of the film. Only mention the notable awards, including the Oscars and the others. For the rest, you can make it in tabular form. For an example see Forrest Gump#Accolades.
  •  Resolved Where's the ref for the AFI?
Attached short film
  •  Resolved I think this is best to be merged in the "Release" section.
References

I will add more soon if there any more issues. Thanks. Mediran (tc) 09:35, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alright well i think i fixed almost everything you mentioned. Tell me if i missed any refs, and i am not very good at shortening plots so if anyone can help me with that it would be greatly appreciated. Koala15 (talk) 20:28, 22 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I will fix the refs for you. You did missed some. Mediran (tc) 03:09, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks alot! Koala15 (talk) 03:22, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The plot is now fixed with 699 words. Mediran (tc) 03:49, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I guess this is good to go but by visiting Checklinks, their are three dead sources. You could use Wayback Machine or other sources to fix that. Also, references to Amazon.com is somewhat unhelpful because it is a sales website. Try searching for press releases or others for this ref. Fix these issues so I can pass it ASAP. Thanks. Mediran (tc) 04:57, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, i fixed them and thanks for shortening the plot. Koala15 (talk) 05:54, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Final thoughts

So here you go. I think the article is now in good shape to be GA. I fixed one dead link that you missed and added some sources in the Accolades section because it somewhat relies on a single source, which is The New York Times link. Thank you Koala15 for the effort in improving this article. Congratulations and maintain its status. Thanks again. Mediran (tc) 10:48, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
