What's wrong with saying that it's Baltimore County, Maryland? Towson is not an incorporated municipality, and Baltimore County provides the fire service, etc. As a matter of fact, Baltimore County does not have any incorporated municipalities in it (as the city of Baltimore is an independent city and therefore is not a part of Baltimore County). A Note on Environmental Responsibility
For people who visited TU forty years ago, and recall its scenic beauty and trees at that time, it is unintentionally hilarious to read about all the tremendous new building projects and high rise and the arena, paired with the assertion that TU is being environmentally responsible for some tiny thing like a trayless Tuesday while essentially pillaging the whole area for enormous new buildings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.44.147.74 (talk) 23:01, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Merge from Burdick Hall Memorial Pool
Please merge relevant content, if any, from Burdick Hall Memorial Pool per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Burdick Hall Memorial Pool. (If there is nothing to merge, just leave it as a redirect.) Thanks. —Quarl (talk) 2007-03-17 09:22Z
Beach?
I had no idea the lawn at Towson was called "the Beach." I'm a Johns Hopkins alum, and we've always called the lawn at 34th and Charles in Baltimore by the same name. Any idea which came first?

I would assume that it came about the same time Cook Library was built Thx2005 20:01, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
- It`s always been called that as far as I know..at least since 1976. 05:09, 29 December 2015 (UTC)75.139.89.187 (talk)
Fair use rationale for Image:TUUnplugged.gif
Image:TUUnplugged.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Image copyright problem with Image:BUDL Logo.jpg
The image Image:BUDL Logo.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.
The following images also have this problem:

Blacklisted Links Found on the Main Page
Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Towson State College
The name of the school was Towson State College before they obtained university status..it had been called Towson State Teacher`s College for years but dropped the teacher`s tag at one point as they had expanded considerably..everyone just called it Towson State before the merge with University of Maryland..building up the football team..raised the tuition..brought in lots of out of out of state students...parking became a nightmare...cheating and plagiarism rampant..as the fraternity and sorority presence increased so did on campus violence and sexual assaults. 75.139.89.187 (talk) 05:26, 29 December 2015 (UTC)
Rationale for subsection on Freundel case?
Why does that get a subsection and, say, the incident with the former swimming and diving coaches does not?--Aresef (talk) 19:52, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
