Name of school (disputed)

If you do a search of newspapers.com, there are exactly 7 references to "Townsend Harris Hall Prep School" - the first starting in 1934 - and they are found overwhelming in obituaries (ie second hand knowledge about the deceased who attended the school).

In contrast, there are almost 1000 references to "Townsend Harris Hall High School" and "Townsend Harris High School" but mostly the latter.

Where does the assertion that the school was called Townsend Harris Hall Prep School come from?

This is probably good enough reason to move the article; Townsend Harris Hall High School is a good bet to not be confused with the current school. Nightheight (talk|tribs) 13:42, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
