Merge with Cell tower technician
[edit]I'm going to merge the cell tower technician page into this one, as they are on the same topic. -- Cin316 (talk) 20:22, 16 April 2020 (UTC)
Copyright Infringement
[edit]The very first two sentences of this article, "Prior to the 1980s, communication and broadcast tower erection, servicing and maintenance was a very small and highly specialized industry. Over the past 30 years, the growing demand for wireless and broadcast communications has spurred a dramatic increase in communication tower construction and maintenance.", were copied from OSHA's website. Here is the link: https://www.osha.gov/doc/topics/communicationtower/index.html
This is copyright infringement and this article should be deleted. What else in the article was copied and pasted? Perhaps the whole thing? Be creative and research your subject and write your own words. If you use other peoples writing, then it should be quoted and referenced. I do not see this in the Wikipedia article. Contested deletion
[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because there are real valid facts that are supported by OSHA in regards to this job and its extreme conditions. Please allow me to edit more.

Proposed merge with Tower Climbing
[edit]No-brainer, really, since both articles are about the same thing; the question is which title should be kept, and on the whole I think the title "Tower climber" (with a small "c") is better since the subject is the profession rather than the activity as such. bonadea contributions talk 16:33, 21 September 2014 (UTC)
