Tower Hamlets (disambiguation) → Tower Hamlets – I'm not convinced that the Metropolitan borough is the primary topic. I would suggest there is an equal split between the historic liberty, the borough and the Parliamentary constituency. While the borough is what most people think of when "Tower Hamlets" is mentioned today, the name and history goes back centuries, far beyond the scope of that article. A quick Google Books search shows contemporary references to the borough, and historic references to the militia and the parliamentary seat. Oppose. The London borough is by far the WP:PTOPIC with regards to usage, and I'm not seeing significantly higher long-term significance in the other topics for them to be a viable challenge to the borough's primary topic status. feminist (talk) 13:52, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. I live in the borough, so my opinion may be coloured by that somewhat, but I'm seeing no evidence that anything other than the modern borough is primary topic. The Kentish location doesn't have an article, the parliamentary constituency lasted only 53 years in the 19th century (and even modern, unambiguously named constituencies take disambiguation, e.g. Cities of London and Westminster → Cities of London and Westminster (UK Parliament constituency), York Outer → York Outer (UK Parliament constituency)) and the primary name for the historic liberty is Tower division.
