Confusing to the layperson . . .
[edit]Wikipedia is a general-interest encyclopedia, so at least the lead should be understandable to the lay reader, even if it is written in an overly simplified or "dumbed-down" version. My opinion, for what it is worth. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 02:09, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
- Going to link "bedrock unit" to Formation (stratigraphy). As for the "mapped" being in there, it's meant to be understood as 'the geographic extent of the Towaco Formation is known'. Think it's necessary in the lead? Lithium6ion (talk) 23:10, 24 April 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for paying attention. I think we should explain, explain, explain so that the lay public has some basic introduction to the scientific specialties we may be experts in. Your friend, GeorgeLouis (talk) 01:56, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
