External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Tova Traesnaes. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20100528054506/http://www.una.edu/library/about/collections/borgnine/bio.html to http://www.una.edu/library/about/collections/borgnine/bio.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Date of birth
[edit]The source that seemed to be cited in the article for the date of birth in fact did not contain that information. The People magazine article of 1981 - https://people.com/archive/with-his-fifth-marriage-ernest-borgnine-finally-has-a-face-saver-wife-tove-vol-16-no-7/ - says "she moved to the U.S. in 1953 with her mother"; and three different sources say that she was around age 8 at that time; that would make her date of birth around 1946.
The Washington Post article says "She got pregnant at 18 during an affair with an older married man who had a nervous breakdown before she could tell him; she gave the baby up for adoption. She later married the man, and they divorced after 11 years." The date of the divorce is known (1972), which would make the marriage date 1961 - which is consistent with the 1941 date in the article, which is why I'm restoring it - I think the fact-checkers at the Washington Post are much better than those at People magazine. But I haven't been able to find an authoritative source - and any cited source ideally would be prior to September 2009, whenthe date of birth was added to the Wikipedia article -- John Broughton (♫♫) 23:30, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
Tova Mercedes
[edit]She was also known for the Tova Mercedes. She thought Mercedes was a great car, but a Spartan interior- she had them modified with a softer more luxurious interior- like a Rolls. Mercedes came along later with the Maybach - with a plush wood and leather interior- and a big grill. 24.234.81.28 (talk) 22:47, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
