Number of Tourists

So, how many tourists currently visit the island each year? I was born and lived there until 1975. Having just visited for a month, the number of visitors is clearly far fewer than the 500,000 per year when I was a lad. I tried to find out the current figure, but was unsuccessful. Anybody know?
