The fact that this entity is owned by Disney is mentioned in the article and in the categorization, therefore the see also section is not necessary. Gentgeen 05:34, 13 Aug 2004 (UTC)
"The famous "lightning" logo is actually a stylized, slanted profile of Mickey Mouse."
Source? Proof? explanation? Something? I can't see it, and can't find any other claims backing that up
I first heard the info about the logo a long, long time ago on this web page: http://www.oitc.com/Disney//Other/General.html I don't know how credible it is, as a lot of the "Hidden Mickeys" reported on this particular page seem to be a bit of a stretch, but I can actually see this one. Here is the quote from the web page: "I am a former Cast Member from the Disney Studios. The yellow "lightning bolt" area on the symbol creates a stretched out profile of Mickey. This was pointed out to me by an animator and becomes very clear when looked for." Sorry about the lack of source earlier... It's my first and only edit so far (I'm an AOL user, so I get those annoying "Anonymous IP" messages all the time).
Do Not Add Upcoming Films into this article
1. As explained in this and the Walt Disney Pictures article: Disney sometimes never have settled for one of their brands before its release date.
2.Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an easily editable version of comingsoon.net!RicJac 00:17, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
So when did the animated striped/lightning logo end? 2002? 03?

- The first film with the new logo was "Signs" but the change was not fully implemented until the start of 2003, i.e. most/all of the other 2003 post-Signs releases used the old logo.RicJac 12:53, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Company descriptions after the movies
I have put up most of the current company descriptions that follows the title and I have tried to establish a uniform system, primarily based on the US Copyright Office registrations that can be accessed on the www. I have made a test page of Touchstone Pictures on my userspace and I would like to hear eventual reactions from fellow wikipedians
presentation
meaning that Disney does not claim ownership to the particular film, as is the case with most films from Spyglass Entertainment and Beacon Communications
in association
meaning that Disney shares ownership with another company, as is the case with most Jerry Bruckheimer films
co-production
meaning that Disney sole owner but another company does get credit for its participationRicJac 13:14, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
list section suggested to split into new article
someone added a suggestion that the movie list be slip into a new article. I think this is a good idea. Also the articles for many of these movies have trivia sections. I've added the appropriate template to most of them. --204.78.9.12 (talk) 13:41, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
Who owns Touchstone?
The beginning of the article says that The Walt Disney Company owns Touchstone, but on the right sidebar it says that Touchstone is a subsidiary of Time Warner. Of course, that is ridiculous since I would assume that these two companies are each other's biggest rivals. Also, Disney's page mentions that it created Touchstone (doesn't actually say the word "own"). So I'm assuming it's Disney. Helixer (hábleme) 23:16, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
