Notability?
[edit]Does every company, no matter how large or small, new or old, get an article in Wikipedia? This is supposed to be an encyclopedia, not a "Who's Who" of American business. This company Touch of Modern is not unique in any way. The entry cites two articles written by the company's founder. This article is a promo piece and should be removed. Is there a policy on including entities that openly discriminate based on gender?
[edit]I’ll open and close with a simpler version of what I mean, in duplicate: Is it ok to include entities that (publicly) practice discrimination? The entity called “Touch of Modern” MAY legally discriminate by gender. Idk whether they DO, but the info on their home site seems to me like they do exclude women from membership. IF they are actually restricting membership to men only, idk whether they are doing so legally. Those are my background thoughts, but my issue for Wikipedia is whether Wikipedia’s policy allows (or maybe requires allowance, on the other end of the spectrum, in its own attempt to NOT discriminate lol) entries for entities that are exclusive in memberships. I hope someone is able to decipher my bunch of words. That’s why I’ll open and close with a simpler version of what I mean, in duplicate: Is it ok to include entities that (publicly) practice discrimination? Dbreyna (talk) 20:36, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
