Station notability

[edit]

Hello Kvng -- Thank you for preventing a controversial PROD for this tram stop. At WP:Notability_(Railway_lines_and_stations), I read that a railway station or tram stop requires notability -- the subject of coverage in secondary sources. I didn't find any. After that, primary sources are okay. This article has neither and has not since 2008. Aside from the photograph, whose subject is unclear to me, what do we have to go on here? First off, if you don't know Japanese, you're likely to miss relevant foreign language sources that could establish notability here. If, nevertheless, you don't think we should have an individual article for every stop on this line, you can go to WP:AFD with a proposal to delete the whole set listed at Tosaden Kōtsū Ino Line. All appear to be in the same shape. If you're into this sort of cleanup, there is also Tosaden Kōtsū Gomen Line. Looks like Tosaden Kōtsū Sanbashi Line was already gutted.
Another idea is just to WP:BOLDLY WP:REDIRECT all these stubby station articles to the article about the line they're on. WP:REDIRECTING is not so controversial since it can be WP:REVERTED by any editor. ~Kvng (talk) 17:09, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
One more idea. Post a request for comment at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Trains. ~Kvng (talk) 17:13, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
