Torches of Freedom example of intentional change in the Social Order
[edit]The Torches of Freedom campaign started in 1929. It is seminal to many developments in history.
(1) It should remain its own Wikipedia article. Suggesting that it be merged with the Women and smoking article would hide its importance.
(2) The first sentence says the Torches of Freedom campaign happened "during" the 1960s women's liberation movement which is not accurate.
I suggest the Torches of Freedom article be reviewed by its authors and linked to various articles including Women and Smoking, the women's liberation movement and others. Most importantly, it should be linked to the article on the Social Order as an example of a corporation (or any kind of large entity) changing the Social Order for its own private purposes, not necessarily for the common good.
