Stand Alone Business Counterpart
[edit]TOPMAN is the stand alone business counterpart of Topshop'
Can someone define exactly what "stand alone business counterpart" means? In what sense does Topman "stand alone"?
Response: As far as I can tell, Topman stores are always "twinned" with Topshop stores, and I assumed Topman was simply the men's department within Topshop, rather than a separate business entity. 217.155.20.163 17:21, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
Response: Whilst stores operate typically within the same premise, the business model separates the brand from TOPSHOP in each store across the UK. Also the site claims some stores may be independant of TOPSHOP- though I am yet to come across one. [1] --PiersBrown (talk) 13:42, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

David Shepard
[edit]Not only are the other contributers to this page correct (as far as I know), this page is extremely dodgy especially the "David" section, which waffles about managers with ambiguous sexuality and a tendency for work experience boys. Would it not be easier just to cut the unsourced waffle out of this article and merger it with Topshop? Jonwood2 20:12, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Topman Malaysia
[edit]I don't think the website linked to as 'Topman Malaysia' really belongs to Topman/Arcadia. Therefore I have removed the link and emailed Topman via their contact form to clarify. I will post the result here. akaDruid (talk) 14:32, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Plagarism of designs
[edit]This plagarism seems important to cover in the article.

tidy up
[edit]Following the purchase of the Topman brand by ASOS, I started a clean-up of the article. I have removed a lot of material, some of it also outdated, unsupported by reliable citations. News of recent financial events is reliably sourced, and no longer dependent on primary sources. Accordingly, I have removed the headnotes from the article. Paul W (talk) 18:08, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
