Background music question

[edit]

Does anyone know what the background music is on the Autumn 2005 Static Shock advert with the presenter saying "Virgil doesn't know who to trust" (the music is not used in the actual cartoon itself). It sounds a mixture of synth and violins but I have been completely unable to track down the artist or the title of the music. 20 November 2005.

Answer is Mr Smith by Hybrid. This question was actually answered (and the history of how the answer was found) over in Talk:Toonami. 7th January 2006.

Neutrality

[edit]

I put the template there because the entire article seems like a put down. While I might agree with you, Wikipedia's an encyclopedia, etc, etc, etc. --Perks 11:07, 11 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Anime? Not on Turner's watch!

[edit]

Um Uh Um Uh, can anyone cite a sorce as to Toonami UK geting Tokyo Mew Mew, Kirby, Super Mario Super Show (Plus zelda) and Digimon Frountier? I especialy find it hard to believe that Frountier is airing in the UK, let alone on Fauxami. I know Zixx was anounced but the rest is a bit susspissious.

Um Uh Um Eh Ah, Agreed, and untill we get confermation, they're gone from the list. --Conan-san 12:30, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

UM UH, Kirby is on POP, Tokyo Mew Mew is on Pop Girl and Digimon was on Jetix UK in October HMR 17:11, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Urgent

[edit]

I just wanted to let you know that The Super Mario Bros. Super Show will come to Toonami. That is all. --The Track Master 13:29, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Err, no. Nah, here's a clue: J---- (--) --The Track Master 20:40, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, that's not proof and as such as no place on Wikipedia now get out. --Conan-san 07:23, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, take it easy. --The Track Master 14:06, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article in question was Jetix (UK). Also Cartoon Network says that it will come to the station 2007. --The Track Master 22:41, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Let's Be honest

[edit]

This channel has just been going downhill ever since it became Toonami, no disrespect to the U.S Toonami. Ever since they cut out all the good shows, Rave Master, Big O etc I just became so dissapointed with what's left. Repeat after repeat. I'd say ,very soon, that this channel will become another teen soap channel.......it's a crying shame that UK viewers get cheated out of all the great shows that American viewers get!

^one and only truth.
Well, with any luck, it'll get closed down sooner rather than later.--Conan-san 13:12, 5 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

    • SatAM is too awesome for them.

Yeah, Toonami went way-way-way-way past cool, so far that they were not cool at all. --The Track Master 15:07, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Protection Request

[edit]

For the love of all that is holy, could you STOP suggesting that we're geting the likes of Digimon, Tokyo Mew Mew and such untill you have a solid source of proof and by that I meen links and/or scans. It's geting silly and I'm slowly reaching my wits end. --Conan-san 15:54, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Incidently, if I so dare as find out who so plaped the Amimax dub of "Card Captor Sakrua" as a previous show I will ave' you, GP and all. --Conan-san 15:43, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Honeslty Guys, I meen it. Source or die here. --Conan-san 06:28, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WHAT PART OF "DO NOT ADD SHOWS TO THE COMING SOON UNLESS YOU HAVE A B****Y SORCE" DO YOU T****S DON@T UNDERSTAND?! --Conan-san 07:45, 15 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To the person who put Digimon Frountier and Mummies Alive without puting solid evidence for it, SOD IS NOW IN EFFECT, SORCE ALL NOTES ON NEW PROGRAMING. Conan-san 09:06, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you should find a source here HMR 06:40, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, they're no more shows coming to Toonami UK because it will replace by the whole channel for Cartoonito. HMR 10:08, 07 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rave Master's back!

[edit]

I checked the Sky Digital Programme Guide, and Rave Master is back on Toonami. Can Rave Masterr be switched back to the current airing shows? RedEyesMetal 19:13, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is toonami going back to Cartoon Network for some new shows?

[edit]

And channel 5 should get the channel 622 to show baby shows. While Cartoon Network will move CN TOO onto 602 Philip1992 16:39, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Philip1992[reply]

No! HMR 19:42, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistancy/mistake/typo

[edit]

The sidebar says the channel closed on the 24th but the history text says "This change was happened in 26 May 2007.[1]"

I just noticed the bad grammar of this sentence as well. I won't change it because I am not sure which is the correct date (since I didn't get toonami myself.)

Fair use rationale for Image:New toonami logo.gif

[edit]

Image:New toonami logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:55, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The image File:2001 Toonami logo.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Toonami's Revival and Toonami Flash Back?

[edit]

According to this page, it says that Toonami will revive along with a timeshift being launched named Toonami Flashback? It says they will launch on Monday 17th February 2014, however I was told it will revive on the 14th. It may be a hoax, but I will change it to the 14th until then. Jetix Plush (talk) 08:01, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Do NOT change this unless you have a source, prefereably a reliable one. Benboy00 (talk) 17:19, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

2006 power outage

[edit]

The section is completely unsourced, and mostly original research. All I can find about it are a bunch of forum posts. I think it should be removed, but maybe it might be an idea to keep it if somebody has a good reason why? Foxnpichu (talk) 23:07, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
