I didn't create this page, but I strongly suggest that the person who placed the speedy delete tag on this stub doesn't know what they are talking about. See List of George Cross recipients for many similar notable people. The George Cross is the highest honour awarded in Britain to persons displaying heroism or valour not in the face of an enemy. Its recipients are as prestigious as the automatically notable Victoria Cross and have every right to a page on Wikipedia.--Jackyd101 (talk) 08:15, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
