[edit]I've {{cn}}'d the statement Tony started playing with Merseyside youth at the age of 18. At the age of 21 he was selected to play for the county of Clwyd. - can we get some evidence of this - the county of Clwyd was abolished in 1996, when Tony would have been about 15, so how did he come to play for it five years later? Also can we get clarification of his birthplace, etc, as I'm curious how he came to qualify for a Welsh county if he was born in England - residency? -- Arwel Parry (talk) 22:34, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Arwel, I am curious as well as you are, but I'm not really surprised as his wife Anastasia Dobromyslova plays county for Wales, I think Clwyd actually, and she's Russian. Also Robbie Green is a scouse yet he's the Welsh National Champion and also plays for Clwyd so it must be true that Tony plays there as well. Of course though clarification is helpful.
