Religion
[edit]Jobas, I see you added a line in the infobox about Mr. Fadell's religion. I'm curious, simply for form's sake, about the source of this information. Info about living people should be very well sourced. I do see he's been categorized as Greek Orthodox Christian Descent (unclear about sourcing for that, too, but that's a different matter), but I don't think that equates to his actual religious beliefs. I took a quick look through the sources in the article and if it's there, I missed it (wouldn't be the first time!). Would appreciate your clarification. Thanks for your time! Inventor of the iphone?
[edit]Nowhere in the article does it say that Fadell is the inventor of the iPhone. Even "creator" is not well sourced. Per WP:LEAD the lead summarizes the article, and right now the article does not say "inventor". If you want to change "creator" to "inventor" you need to first add that to the Apple Inc section, with a proper source, then summarize what it says there in the lead. Nationality in the lead
[edit]Maybe it wasn't clear from my edit summary, but "Lebanese-American" doesn't belong in the lead per MOS:ETHNICITY: "Ethnicity, religion, or sexuality should generally not be in the lead unless relevant to the subject's notability. Similarly, neither previous nationalities nor the country of birth should be mentioned in the lead unless relevant to the subject's notability." In this case Fadell isn't even Lebanese-American by either nationality or country of birth, only by ancestry. I would be opposed to adding this anywhere in the article since it's not relevant to his notability, but if it goes anywhere, it should be in "Education and early life". Note too that putting it in the lead and not elsewhere is a violation of WP:LEAD. GA-RT-22 (talk) 23:01, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
Cite check
[edit]I've placed a "cite check" template because most of this article seems to be made up. Some of it might be true, but most of it is not verified by the cited sources. GA-RT-22 (talk) 22:09, 19 June 2024 (UTC)
