Note that the original creator mentioned several URLs as sources for this article: text that doesn't come from the bio I linked may be from one of them. (I hate to tag this for deletion, because I love the guy's singing, but there's no clean version to revert to.) --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 17:39, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

After discussions with the singer - he has arranged that http://www.tonydesare.com/bio-press/ now has a CC-BY-SA 3.0 logo and text statement, so some data has been restored. He does expect to get permission from the other sites to fully restore the article.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:26, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Rising Star"

[edit]

According to the article (& DeSare's website), "Tony DeSare was named a "Rising Star" Male Vocalist in the 2009 Downbeat Critics Poll." While kind of true, this is misleading: in 2009, he got 20 votes in that poll, which put him eleventh in the list. In 2010, he got 12 votes, which was good enough for twelfth. So: although the "a" makes the statement not entirely false, the sentence misleads, so I'll cut it. EddieHugh (talk) 18:57, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Continuing, the chart information (unsourced) was also wrong, according to Billboard. His website states "DeSare has three top ten Billboard jazz albums under his belt". I'd like to see reliable sources for that, because Billboard mentions just one here. EddieHugh (talk) 19:26, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
