Dubstep?
[edit]Yeah, the song has a dirty synth bassline, but we never hear the accents on the third beat and other dub signature sounds. Since the kick drum is doing an eternal Four_on_the_floor_(music), I would rather say this is an upbeat Electro House song. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.124.243.114 (talk) 08:38, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- Regardless of our critiques of the song, the source (or at least the one that was previously in the article) mentioned that it had dubstep and techno inspired sounds. So, it was reliably sourced and deserved to stay, but now that I look at what's there, the article no longer supports that (perhaps it never did; I could be confusing it with one of the many articles I edit and watch on the wiki). At any rate, I think it's also misleading to say that the song received generally positive reviews, because it seems pretty mixed. The constant inclusion of the producer "West" is dubious, so I have omitted it. --Thevampireashlee (talk) 03:14, 8 May 2013 (UTC)
Wrong Source
[edit]"The song will be released as the follow-up single to "This Kiss" after it impacts the Top 40 mainstream radio songs.[1]"
Nowhere in the given source is there any mention of "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" as the next single. Sure, it's likely to be the next single, but it isn't mentioned anywhere officially yet (not on FMBQ or All Access yet either). No adds date for radio has been given. This page is pre-mature. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.101.108.193 (talk) 16:02, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Genre
[edit]Well, it looks like the genre warriors have been through this article repeatedly for several years.
The only source in the article for a genre is for electro house. Someone doesn't like that but seems to be unwilling and unable to provide sources or discuss the issue. - SummerPhDv2.0 18:47, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
