I moved the orphaned talk page back to where it belonged with the parent article. I am opposed to moving this article - By consensus, the name of the river is sufficient to cover both the river and its surrounding environs (see Snake River, for example). If the article has expanded beyond that, then that is a good sign that the article is too broad, and we should consider multiple pages (see Powder River (Montana) and Powder River Country, for example). Re: this edit summary, at the time the project tags were added, the article was a stub. Some WikiProjects aren't as active as others regarding keeping their assessments up-to-date, and some folks who improve articles don't bother with rankings--so thanks for the update!
