About his departure
[edit]Honma is a very talented and hard-working wrestler and I was very saddened to learn that he has left AJPW. I wish him luck wherever he goes, and hope that he'll return some day in the not-too-distant future. --Voievod 22:55, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Signature moves
[edit]If anyone knows what Honma does for his Turmeric Clutch, please contribute. He uses it quite often. He used to do the Pillar Crash in 2002, but I've never seen it. -- Voievod 22:04, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
On light tubes
[edit]I fondly remember the days when Honma made subtle use of light tubes (even grabbing one from the ceiling fixtures during a ladder match), but weren't they already fully in use in BJPW in the 90s? I swear I can remember a few Kojika/Pogo/Goto era (lights out) light tube board matches where people were screwing off tubes to beat each other with. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.163.57.234 (talk) 12:20, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
Injured
[edit]Tomoaki Honma had been seriously injured. He took a drapping DDT from the second rope from Jado. One of his feet got caught on the ropes which caused him to land wrong. He was teaming with Michael Elgin, and Togi Makabi against Jado, Toru Yano, and Tomohiro Ishii. That's all the information that is out there upon doing a search for information. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 19:18, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
