MVP?
[edit]Nope
[edit]But neither did Maddox. John Avery won the Offensive MVP playing running back for Chicago.
James Willis, Birmingham LB was named Defensive MVP.
Maybe Maddox was MVP of the championship game...
I don't have anything to back this up, but several sports commentators have mentioned that Maddox was the XFL MVPAndrew zot 12:15, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
Tommy Maddox in fact was the XFL MVP, not just of the championship game. [1]

Tommy Gun
[edit]Can we please have some mention of the "Tommy Gun" offense, named after maddox, the Steelers ran from 2001 (2002?) to 2003.Andrew zot 12:15, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
Reverted changes on 10/26
[edit]I undid the recent changes to the NFL return section. I don't debate the accuracy, since I know nothing of it, but it seems to have lots of POV:
- "disappointing" (to who? cite source)
- "lack of mobility" (compared to what/who? cite source)
- "exposed...weakness" (according to who? relative to what?)
- "Knowing Maddox was not the long term answer at quaterback" (is this something they expressed knowing? cite source).
Yes, there was a little POV there already (like "poor performance" and "average performance" in the next paragraph), but I'm trying to keep more from being added, at least. --Hebisddave 19:40, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
