Acting manager

My edit here, and also my edit at Ray Knight, both of 23 May 2021, were reverted. No reason was given (see WP:FIES, "It is considered good practice to provide a summary for every edit, especially when reverting (undoing) the actions of other editors or deleting existing text"). Per WP:BRD, I am asking for an explanation of the reversion. It appears that the reverter believes that distinctions between manager and acting manager should not be in the article. If that's the issue, then I don't understand that opinion. If no explanation is forthcoming, and no dissenting opinions are posted here, I will re-add my edits at some point. -- HLachman (talk) 07:27, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
