[edit]Note: Even though the ATP profile page lists Tommy's residence as Bradenton, his own website indicates he is living in Sarasota.
Federer
[edit]--PSALT 03:58, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
why is there a section dedicated to his losses to Federer in '06. I think that should be changed.....
Enormous space
[edit]Could someone experienced get rid of the giant space...it looks awful...
Exceptionally strong forehand?
[edit]Tommy is particularly well-known for his exceptionally strong forehand.
This seems misleading, as far as I can tell he's rather known for his solid backhand? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.177.240.187 (talk) 19:25, 6 April 2007 (UTC).
At least he lists the backhand longline as his best shot (www.tommyhaas.com).
- Ya, I don't know where that came from. Haas's best shot is his backhand, usually down the line after extending someone. He is generally considered to have one of the best topspin-backhands in tenns. Nothing wrong with his forehand, though.Ernham 23:13, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- This needs to be changed. His backhand is his trademark shot. His forhand isn't bad either, but his backhand is definitely better.

Schizophrenia?
[edit]I deleted this: "His recent claims of having his food poisoned are leading many to believe he is suffering from schizophrenia."
It's not sourced and sounds very difficult to believe. If someone can write a section on the poisoning charges, go ahead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.120.253.157 (talk) 11:07, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
The poisoning claims were in all the media. http://www.theage.com.au/news/tennis/tests-for-haas-after-poison-claim/2007/11/08/1194329412508.html Mdell27 (talk) 12:32, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
the article is wrong
[edit]on the table it says he won the Madrid tournament on 2001, and on the Masters Series finals wins it says STUTTGARD, when stuttgard IS NOT AN ATP MASTER SERIES. Vandalism, wrong info or? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.57.238.91 (talk) 16:16, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

American-German?
[edit]Now that's just retarded. When two nationalities are used, the first one acts as an adjective and the second a noun. Haas is certainly not an American German. German American might be acceptable. Even German I would accept (seeing that he's played his whole career representing Germany and I believe he still will represent Germany for Davis Cup). If you can't decide, just don't mention his nationality at all in the intro. Please! -Depor23 (talk) 02:57, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
Schizophrenia (2010)
[edit]I looked and am unable to find any indication that Haas is considered schizophrenic. (talk) made this edit in 2007 and does not seem to have been able to provide a source at that time. (See "Schizophrenia" above.) "Tommy Haas thinks he might have been poisoned" is not the same as "Tommy Haas thinks he might have been poisoned and everyone else thinks he's crazy," much less "Tommy Haas is accusing the Russians of poisoning him and everyone thinks he has untreated paranoid schizophrenia." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cnikki (talk • contribs) 11:35, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Top 10 in 3 different decades.
[edit]If he continues to go well in the masters series events he could soon reach the top 10 and become the second (alongisde Andre Agassi) tennis player ever to be top 10 in 3 different decades. He reached the #10 spot in 1999, many times during the 2000's, and now in 2013 probably. --Tommy The Wise (talk) 13:51, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
- A useless statistic. What you're saying is that he could be ranked in the top 10 spanning 3 different 'cultural' decades. Seeing that a decade is technically any period of 10 years, your comment is stretching the truth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 211.31.33.242 (talk) 01:57, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
