I've edited the Tombras Group page to conform to a neutral point of view. Please advise whether it meets guidelines. In writing the page I used other advertising agency pages, such as Ogilvy and Mather, as rough guidelines. I believe it now has a neutral tone but since that's a somewhat subjective judgment I'd appreciate some feedback. Thanks. Mettamom (talk) 13:29, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the {{helpme}} template should only be used on your own talkpage, not on article talkpages. In addition, it's really not for asking for reviews of articles. I'd suggest you find a Wikiproject that covers corporate articles (or even articles about advertising/marketing firms), and ask on their talkpage to have a look. //roux   16:50, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Tombras Group page seems very similar to pages I see in the Company portal under Advertising Agencies. is it appropriate for inclusion there? If not, can you tell me the rationale. Thanks Mettamom (talk) 13:50, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can ask for more assisstance on the Request for Feedback noticeboard. If you have any affiliation with the Tombras Group, please read our guidelines on Conflict of Interest. Thank you. Livewireo (talk) 21:09, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proper reference format

[edit]

This article has a lot of incomplete references, some of which are dead links. Please use Template:Cite web when you add them so that we know the bare minimum about the publication, author, and date. It is possible that the link could become dead later on, but if we have enough information about the publisher, author, etc. it can be located again in the publication's archives.--Jpbrenna (talk) 22:00, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Explanation of issue: Jeff Benjamin should be added as the Chief Creative Officer to the "Key People" section of the page.

Information to be updated: 5 Offices
Explanation of the update: The Number of Locations should be updated to 5 locations (Knoxville, TN | New York, NY | Atlanta, GA | Charlotte, NC | Washington D.C). Tombras does not have a Louisville, KY office anymore. The two new locations (supporting references below) are New York, NY and Atlanta, GA.

Information to be added: October 2019 – US Search Awards, Best Use of Search - Retail/Ecommerce (PPC)
Explanation of addition: This is a request to make an addition to the "Recognition" section of the page. In October 2019, Tombras won best use of Search for the Retail / Ecommerce category at the US Search Awards for their paid search (PPC) efforts for a client of theirs, Great Clips. The winning award submission was titled, "Data Flow for Incremental Store Visits." This recognition is particularly significant in that it provides third-party verification of Tombras' capabilities in digital marketing, specifically search engine marketing.

Information to be added: April 2019 – Ad Age A-List, Agencies to Watch
Explanation of addition: This is a request to make an addition to the "Recognition" section of the page. In April 2019, Tombras was one of 10 advertising agencies recognized as an Agency to Watch in the annual AdAge A List publication and monthly magazine issue. This recognition is particularly significant in that AdAge is an advertising industry leading publication and the A List is an anticipated annual publication recognizing the top advertising agencies of the year according to the publication's methods of assessment.

Hi Ryguyskisurf, and thank you for your suggestions. You need to disclose who is paying you and what entity you are making these edits on behalf of. The executive officer and office location updates are  Done. However, I am not a fan of featuring industry awards on Wikipedia articles. Mentioning a litany of industry awards on an article has a promotional effect, which is against Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, and the criteria for receiving an award is often opaque. I'll note that the US Search Awards required a $245 fee per entry. For these reasons, I decline to add the industry awards. Best, Altamel (talk) 21:27, 26 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
