In the video games appearance, I would add a small statement mentioning their appearance in Warner Bros. 2022 online fighting game Multiversus as playable characTers. Spectralunicorn1 (talk) 01:45, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

Television/Packaged shows and programming blocks
Suggestion: Add "The Tom & Jerry Show" (a compilation of Tom & Jerry and other MGM cartoon shorts), which has aired on MeTV from 2021-present. 2604:2D80:D886:3400:8097:532F:92BA:CC98 (talk) 15:00, 15 July 2023 (UTC)

Suggesting to add into Cultural Influences: A small segment of a Tom and Jerry cartoon can be seen in the movie of "Pink Floyd - The Wall" when the music of "The Thin Ice" is being played. Yesdrs1313 (talk) 12:34, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

Music?
I was a little surprised to find no section on the music, other than one sentence about Mr. Bradley's mixing of styles; the starting 30 seconds or so title tune being a nostalgic meme of our times (I came here hoping to find more about it - who wrote it [Mr. Bradley?], who performed it [and when], and so on). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cu0KOzunpI Does anyone know the necessary information - or a link to something appropriate? There is a typo in the name Štěpán Koníček. Stěpán Koníček is wrong, add "Š" please. Thank you. Helpiczek (talk) 15:42, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

Wrong info under the "plot" section
Specifically, the following sentence is inaccurate: "Despite their endless attacks on one another, [Tom and Jerry] have saved each other's lives every time they were truly in danger" except in The Two Mouseketeers and Blue Cat Blues. I can think of three more shorts like The Two Mouseketeers where Tom dies at the end with no attempt by Jerry to try to save him. For example, in The Yankee Doodle Mouse, Jerry not only fails to save Tom but actually facilitates his death by tying Tom to rocket and watching him explode into fireworks. Tom meets a similar demise at the end of Safety Second. Finally, in Mouse Trouble, Tom ends up exploding himself and is seen floating in a cloud as an angel.
There might be more examples from the original run that I'm forgetting, but with 4 cartoons ending with Tom's death and 1 with Tom and Jerry both committing suicide (Blue Cat Blues), I think it's difficult to make the claim that they "saved each other's lives every time." I would suggest either adding in the 3 more exceptions I listed, or honestly just delete the sentence altogether because it's weird to make a sweeping claim about Tom and Jerry, only to qualify it with 5 exceptions to the rule. 69.42.5.192 (talk) 11:48, 6 December 2023 (UTC)

decision to leave MGM
It wasn't William Hanna's and Joseph Barbera's decision to leave MGM. They were actually let go due to the animation studio shuttering which made forming their own studio the only way for them to continue their animation careers. They tried to get MGM to distribute their cartoons but they were turned down. Evope (talk) 21:11, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
Wrong info under "Plot" section (repost cuz still hasn't been addressed)
Specifically, the following claim is inaccurate: "Despite their endless attacks on one another, [Tom and Jerry] have saved each other's lives every time they were truly in danger" except in The Two Mouseketeers and Blue Cat Blues. Nor is it true that the ending of The Two Mouseketeers was "uncharacteristically morbid." In fact, I can name three more shorts like The Two Mouseketeers where Tom dies at the end with no attempt by Jerry to try to save him.
