Please keep in mind this is an encyclopedia, not a tabloid. First, we do not allow for original research, things about living people must be sourced to reliable sources, things need to be in proportion to the subject as a whole. And for god's sake, headers need to comply with our manual of style and not be mini-sections in themselves. But, in general, see What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies), and WP:BLP. Does a mention of the run belong in the article, yes, and it is there. Do we need a play-by-play, no, that is what blogs are for, not Wikipedia. Besides WW, has any other big media outlet mentioned the cover? Aboutmovies (talk) 23:20, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Portland item

[edit]

Hughes was sworn into office on January 4, 2011, and is the first Metro president from outside of Portland. -Not sure how relevant the "outside of Portland" qualifier is, as Hughes is really only the second Metro president. Calickizzle (talk) 20:02, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If it wasn't relevant, then why did he and the media mention it? You and I may not care, or even think it is relevant, but we go by WP:NPOV, which is in essence, if the sources cover it it, then we do. The reliable sources get to do the editorializing, not us.
