Sourcing for SJSU AD stint

@Jweiss11: I have found references to several significant articles about Bowen in the San Jose Mercury during his time as SJSU athletic director, but I have not been able to find online versions of the articles themselves. These Mercury articles are out there somewhere, however. When I get some time later today, I will crack Newspapers.com and see what I can find. You may want to ping Cbl62; he's California-based, and may have a subscription to the Mercury archives. That said, there appear to be a lot of other good sources in my Google search which we have not yet exploited. Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 16:45, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Tenure at De La Salle

@Dirtlawyer1: what was your source for Bowen's 12 years (and 151 football wins) at De La Salle High School? Was that from the now-dead Inside Memphis Business article that I added to the article? This Saint Mary's College press release indicates that Bowen was AD at De La Salle for 8 or 9 years, from 1987 to 1995. Jweiss11 (talk) 12:04, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thanks. I see the source content in that cited article. I think the way we have the article here worded now is a little misleading because because Bowen was not there are all 12 of those years. Jweiss11 (talk) 00:03, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
