@Jweiss11: I have found references to several significant articles about Bowen in the San Jose Mercury during his time as SJSU athletic director, but I have not been able to find online versions of the articles themselves. These Mercury articles are out there somewhere, however. When I get some time later today, I will crack Newspapers.com and see what I can find. You may want to ping Cbl62; he's California-based, and may have a subscription to the Mercury archives. Ah, thanks. I see the source content in that cited article. I think the way we have the article here worded now is a little misleading because because Bowen was not there are all 12 of those years. Jweiss11 (talk) 00:03, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
