[edit]See [[1]] This page was started by Luboš Motl and basically is just a pointer to Luboš_Motl.
Now I know the previous article was voted for deletion and people decided to keep it, but this one is just ridiculous. Having an author (Lumidek) write an entry where someone is said to be best known for having discovered him is just ludicrous.
I don't know how to have a deletion vote request on this page, so if you do, please do so.
Vandalism
[edit]I have removed this sentence: "He is best known for his discovery of Lubos Motl". This possibly sarcastic crack was added by GaeusOctavius (talk · contribs).
You have a peculiar definition of vandalism. If you knew anything, you would know that it was in fact Tom Banks who discovered Motl and brought him to the United States. Whether Motl qualifies as his best known discovery is a matter of opinion perhaps but not vandalism. --GaeusOctavius 17:58, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Note: 69.236.40.68 (talk · contribs), may be the so-called pltn13.pacbell.net anon, a suspected sock of Jack Sarfatti, who has been permabanned by Jimbo Wales and should not be editing the WP at all. However, from the contribs I would guess that the person who used this machine to edit this article is not the Sarfatti sock but just another Southwestern Bell Internet Services customer who happened to use that machine. ---CH 11:47, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Regarding the recent vandalism by 69.37.94.40 (talk · contribs), aka the Southwestern Bell Internet Services anon, that IP is geolocated in New Haven, CT. The previously noted edit from the same ISP, made by 69.236.40.68 (talk · contribs), was benign. ---CH 02:57, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
