Alternate version
[edit]I'll try to track this down, but I think there may be an "alternate" version of "Toes" — one which substitutes the word "ass" for a non-profane word. If indeed I (or someone) can verify this, we need to include it in this article. [[Briguy52748 (talk) 13:17, 29 October 2009 (UTC)]]
I hear an alternate version of this song with "ass" substituted with "glass". I remember hearing another version also but for the life of me I can not remember the word that they substituted with, but it was an obvious hack job that I am thinking a certain station put in. I wish I could find an mp3 file with the "glass" version, but have been unable to. The station that I hear it on is 101.1 The Farm out of Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. - I have heard two alternate versions of this song. Both use "toes" in place of "ass" so that the line reads "I've got my toes in the water/toes in the sand". One version makes another change, omitting the "roll me a fat one" line. These changes appear to have been made to appease radio stations that did not wish to broadcast "obscenities" and/or drug references.Khajidha (talk) 23:26, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
