This sounds like POV to me!

Since i lived it, he did define New York house music in the late 80s, before him, everything was chicago until he came out. that's the reason why i call him the Godfather of NEW YORK house. D.J. M & M

I feel it needs to talk more about the mid 90's era, after he remixed Missing by Everything but the girl he had 2 or 3 years in which he became extremely popular as remixer, from The Cardigans to the Corrs to Cameroonian Wes everybody wanted a Todd Terry Remix.--RyogaMex 06:14, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

And Garbage. His re-mix of "Stupid Girl" in 1995, i think, was instrumental in getting the band exposure. The Garbage association is not even listed as being one of his works. I am a Garbage fan and that track is well liked by the fans. The Missing re-mix from Everything But The Girl is what got them huge exposure and probably led to their eventual break in the industry.EnveeNV (talk) 19:32, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It might add weight if you mention the referencing of him in the 2001? Channel 4 Documentary "Pump up the Volume", a 3 part series examining the emergence of the House scene.
