Please change number of children to 5. Heap and his wife Ashley have five children: daughter Brooklyn (born 2002), twin sons Preston and Kyle (born in 2006), son Cade (born 2009) and another daughter, born in 2013, that tragically died in April 2017 when Heap accidentally ran her over while moving his vehicle in his driveway. 2600:8800:1704:FF01:258D:257E:DA4E:21BB (talk) 09:05, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. JTP (talkcontribs) 16:02, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I updated the number. I removed the cause as the ME hasn't released a name or a cause. Not going to put a cause of death before we even have a name. We aren't vultures. --DHeyward (talk) 16:54, 16 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It was reported in reliable sources and your hero has not denied it. Stop whitewashing the article. Abductive (reasoning) 15:51, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And? Your wording implies you have some animosity as he means nothing to me. There is no rush to attribute the death prior to an ME's ruling. We're an encyclopedia with BLP standards for sourcing. A news event about the death of a person whom we don't even have a name for or even knew existed prior to her death is not enough to attribute cause. It may never notable enough to even mention the cause here as that is not what Heap is known for and unless charges are filed, its an accident. So no. Get better sources or change consensus but stop edit warring. --DHeyward (talk) 17:32, 20 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Three or four editors have tried to update the article with appropriately sourced information. You are the only one reverting. Continued revertion is vandalism. Abductive (reasoning) 04:11, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
For Christ's sake, you want Wikipedia to state flat out that a man killed his child, without official ruling, and you don't see a BLP issue? What is WRONG with you? --Calton | Talk 05:25, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So far "died" or "died in a car accident" is a sufficient level of detail. There are no charges expected which means it doesn't rise to any culpable mental state which includes the inference of any fault or blame. The accident may never reach the bar for including details in a biographical article. --DHeyward (talk) 08:51, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Now the death is the subject of analysis in a secondary source. It's hard to see this being a BLP concern anymore, since Wikipedia would only be citing a newspaper reporter whose editors are obviously not concerned that they would be sued. Abductive (reasoning) 22:03, 6 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Correcting the name of Heap's religion

[edit]

The president of Heap's religion released a statement in July and October of 2018 stating that "Mormon" and "LDS Church" are not the correct names of the church. See link from the church's official website citing a speech by the president here: http://www.lds.org/general-conference/2018/10/the-correct-name-of-the-church?lang=eng Urstadt (talk) 20:23, 20 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
