Talk:Toccoa, Georgia
How is it not famous? give a reason.
re: Use of "famous city"
[edit]"Famous," as it is currently used in this article ("famous city," to be precise), suggests that the city has more fame associated with it than nearly every other city on the planet. "Famous" might be attributable to more commonly known cities such as Chicago, Illinois, Tokyo, Japan, or Melbourne, Australia, yet the associated articles do not state that the cities they represent are famous cities. One might say that Toccoa is "noted" for this or that, but to claim that Toccoa is a "famous city" is at least not objective and at most inaccurate (barring incontrovertible proof involving nationwide/worldwide polls or similar).

Notable people
[edit]I noticed there are notable people listed in the History section of the main article, and there is also a Notable people section in the main article. I am wondering if all notable people should be moved to the Notable people section. I think that is correct per WP:WikiProject Cities/US Guideline but wanted to ask before making that change.
