Finally a "Correct" rating

[edit]

Finally a correct rating that doesn't have to address length of article. I am a little critical of all the 'experts' who 'own' wikipedia. An example, the huge article on "Evolution" starts in the first sentence addressing: "Biological evolution". Eventually someone will hold their feet to the fire and rename It: "Evolution of Life", or "Biological evolution", Since there are so many other varieties of "Evolution". (Plus their ignoring Earth evolution by focussing on the (unnamed) "Biological evolution"). Anyhow... its nice to see a B rating on a shorter–type article. --from the SonoranDesert of Arizona- ..Mmcannis 02:49, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Better Image

I think my picture would look better in the article, but I didn't want to offend anyone, so I'm posting it here. ;-) It was taken in Mexico in 2006. --Janjan2 11:02, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Images

[edit]

I made a gallery and uploaded a picture of a juvenile as well. Didn't remove anything from the article Privateiron (talk) 12:17, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In captivity section

[edit]

Better than the normal "pet" section, but poorly referenced (ie not at all) and still hovering on the edge of a care sheet. Ill modify in the next few days with some luck Man Over-bored (talk) 14:47, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Geography

[edit]

The article stated "Brachypelma vagans is a species of tarantula known commonly as the Mexican red rump or Mexican black velvet. It ranges predominantly in Mexico, but can be found as far south as Belize, Yucatan, El Salvador, and Guatemala. " But The Yucatan Peninsula is part of Mexico.
