[edit]The portrait is very realistic and its performance is also wonderful.Although this photograph is once eliminated by someone, I think that I will return again. If there are those with an objection, I will want you to describe a reason for this note.220.159.17.219 07:13, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Comments
[edit]In the single-sentence section titled "Controvesy" (sic), in addition to the misspelled title, there are grammatical errors (unnecessary use of the definite article "the" before "Shanghai's official theme" and lack of the definite article "the" before the phrase "2007 Shanghai Special Olympics"). Additionally, the controversy referred to in the title regards an aspect of a past event (the 2007 Shanghai Special Olympics) in the present tense ("theme song... is being sabotaged.")
More importantly, this entry about a minor, past controversy is not appropriate for the biographical entry of Timothy Shriver. It would be more appropriate in an entry about the Special Olympics itself (an organization providing intellectually disabled people with opportunities for sports training and competition[1]), although even its significance for that purpose is doubtful.
Furthermore, the connection of this event to Shriver would likely be unclear to a casual reader of this entry because it contains no reference to the fact that Shriver is the current chairman of the board of the Special Olympics[2].

- I have removed the section, as the source (a forum) does not qualify as a reliable source. I add that, if the subject is involved in a notable and prominent controversy, then it probably should be mentioned here - if we have sources and can discuss it in a neutral fashion. His son Timothy
[edit]Can anyone find a definitive source for Timothy's son Timothy's middle name? The article gives it as both Perry and Potter, and both (as well as ‘Timothy Shriver Jr.’, which implies that it's Perry) are found in sources online. Esszet (talk) 13:26, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
