there is "mostly civilians" in brackets next to the amount of people killed by Hammas, which is true, but the same is true for the 34000 Gazans killed by Israeli soldiers, so either the same signifier should be added to that number or it should be removed from the first number. Anyone who is able to edit articles, please rectify this. 2001:56A:DFE1:E991:0:15:79CD:2501 (talk) 16:10, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia article titled "1948 Palestinian Expulsion and Flight" reports more than 700,000 Palestinians displaced in 1948. This article titled "Gaza-Israel Conflict" reads "...beginning in 1948, when 200,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled from their homes, settling in the Gaza Strip as refugees." This statistic on the "Gaza-Israel Conflict" page should read that more than 700,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled, 200,000 of who settled in Gaza. This would prevent the article from misleading the reader to believe that less than 700,000 Palestinians were displaced in 1948. Matthahn23 (talk) 15:51, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
