First Victorian lockdown

[edit]

The page says "On 30 June, the Victorian Government re-enforced local lockdown" but never states when the FIRST lockdown was.

Would be nice to have a section that is just dates of lockdowns. ie VIC 1st Lockdown March xx - Jun xx yynumber of days

VIC 2nd lockdown July xx - Oct xx yynumber of days

The result of this discussion was to split the articles into yearly segments 2020 and 2021 as done for other country timelines. Aeonx (talk) 01:30, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This article is too long, the document statistics as of 12 August 2021:

  • HTML document size: 1172 kB
  • Prose size (including all HTML code): 173 kB
  • References (including all HTML code): 615 kB
  • Wiki text: 295 kB
  • Prose size (text only): 103 kB (17258 words) "readable prose size"
  • References (text only): 84 kB

Following WP:SIZERULE, I believe this article is due for a split, my initial suggestion is to separate by year, ie. 2020 and 2021.

We can do what they did with Timeline of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, splitting it into 2020 and 2021. JMonkey2006 (talk) 07:26, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support a by year split, this is only going to get longer. CMD (talk) 07:40, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Agree @Aeonx: Split into years. 220 of ßorg 12:06, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: @Aeonx: I think the Statistics of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia page is even more in need of trimming, splitting or whatever as many cites (№ 202 – 241) don't appear at all on that page. 220 of ßorg 12:27, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
