Orphaned references in Timeline of the American-led intervention in Syria
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Timeline of the American-led intervention in Syria's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "cnnsyriaairstrikes":
- From American-led intervention in Syria: Sciutto, Jim; Castillo, Mariano; Yan, Holly (September 22, 2014). "U.S. airstrikes hit ISIS inside Syria for first time". CNN. Retrieved September 22, 2014.
- From Military intervention against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant: "US airstrikes hit ISIS inside Syria for first time". CNN. 22 September 2014. Retrieved 22 September 2014.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 04:48, 9 February 2015 (UTC)

Too much duplication
[edit]This article isn't a timeline, it seems largely to be duplication of American-led intervention in Iraq (2014–present). Batternut (talk) 10:31, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
