Various Edits
[edit]I have started working on editing this article, I am adding events, reviewing the current content, and reviewing and adding sources. I thought it may be helpful to list the things I found that needed to be fixed or added and what I have done (I will list the major edits/issues.) I wanted to explain the edits I hope to make as well.
- I am planning on adding recent events as there are currently no dates after 2012.
- I have added or will add the following:
- - The creation of the Smiley - 1963
- - Higgins Armory closing - 2013
- - The first public reading of the Declaration of Independence by Isaiah Thomas - July 14, 1776
- - Updates on various sports teams, such as the Worcester Sharks leaving and new teams formed
- The article currently lists the "first baseball no-hitter by Lee Richmond of Worcester, National League." on May 5, 1857. After reviewing this I realized this was incorrect, it lists the date Lee Richmond was born, not the date of the event. I will fix this with the correct date.
These are the edits I have made so far and my plans for other edits. Please let me know if you have any advice or anything to say about what I have done.
