Comic book

I have deleted the sentence saying that Timecop is based on a comic series from Dark Horse Comics. Although the movie is credited everywhere as being based on a comic, the only Timecop comics on the Dark Horse website is the two-part adaptation of the movie. There is no mention of any other Timecop comics anywhere on the Internet. The alleged comic series is probably either a very persistent meme or something that was written but never actually published.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.214.143.84 (talk) .

Since when aren't there holes in time travel plots?

I just watched this film again, was struck by a couple of good performances from minor characters, was wondering who they were. (The black guy who does the briefing is excellent (Scott Lawrence), the side-kick cop is good (Gloria Reuben), and the console nerd is quite believable.)

Then I read Roger Ebert's review, a good part of which focuses on the film's paradoxes. It makes you wonder. Does this guy think time travel is based on real physical laws? It's a little strange that he notices some "problems" but seems unaware there are a host of other ones.

The only thing striking me as grossly unbelievable and painful was the engine flames coming from the back of the time launch vehicle. If they were moving at any speed, they would have appeared almost horizontal, but they were lazily moving toward the ceiling.

The acting he should have picked on was Mia Sara's, which seemed stereotyped.

Ebert, at current prices, max carrying weight for a horse 600 lbs., I work out the load to be $8,400,000 gold that Confederate horse could have been carrying. If it wasn't overloaded. If there was only one horse carrying. Not an incredible amount, but...how long did it take to steal? A few days' planning?

Comic book continuation

Timecop '94 is a comic book limited series published by Dark Horse Comics that was served as an alternate continuation of Timecop (1994), while ignoring the events of Timecop 2: The Berlin Decision (2003). 24.111.55.7 (talk) 14:56, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
