Hologram?
[edit]Do we really need to refer to the floating head as a hologram? It was billed as a hologram by the show's producers, but I saw the show and it clearly wasn't a hologram. First of all, holograms don't get that big, and second, they can't be projected. The producers made a film of Olivier's face, which he was careful to keep still, and they projected it onto a large blank 3-d face sculpture. This creates the illusion that an actual (huge) face is hovering over the stage, but it's not a hologram, it's conventional film on an unconventional screen. (Visitors to Disneyland can see the same effect, on a much smaller scale, in the Haunted Mansion, where a moving face is projected onto a bust that sits inside a crystal ball.) --MiguelMunoz (talk) 03:52, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Featured Artists
[edit]These are the featured artists, according to the double vinyl album in my possession:
Side One
|
Side Two |
Side Three |
Side Four |
- Personal Reflections
- On Side Two, there are some strange things to be heard:
- On song no. 11: "Your brother in soul", the vocals sound reminiscent of Tom Jones's voice but it's said to be the voice of Jimmy Helms. Only they themselves know the truth.
- On song no. 12: "Case for the Prosecution", the case is similar, only that I would guess on say Holly Johnson from Frankie Goes to Hollywood, rather than John Christie.
- On song no. 14: "Time Will Teach Us All", the main vocals are sung by Julian Lennon, as implied by the text on the record itself...BUT...I can SWEAR that I hear Stevie Wonder singing on that particular song! He sings a lot too and also plays the harmonica.
- Anyone else agrees on that?
- If mr Wonder (wonder no more!) was indeed participating on this album, then how come it's not mentioned anywhere? That is a wonder and mystery to me.

There's a mention of this musical in a 90s edition of Cliff Richard the biography by Steve Turner
[edit]Book claimed they had to reword part of the script because Cliff refused to say a line that he felt went against his belief in Jesus. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.145.14.187 (talk) 04:33, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
