Top of Gray Wolf article says “"Timber wolf" redirects here.”, but article doesn't use "timber" again. Change Timber_wolf into redirect to:
(a) Timber_Wolf?
(b) Mackenzie Valley Wolf? (MVW article says "also known as the Alaskan Tundra Wolf or Canadian Timber Wolf is perhaps the largest subspecies of Gray Wolf in North America.")
(c) Eastern Wolf? (Eastern Wolf article says "The eastern wolf ... is traditionally considered to be a subspecies of the Gray Wolf. ... Many names were proposed, including the ... Eastern Timber Wolf ...".
or (d) something else? --EarthFurst (talk) 18:52, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I !vote for (a). It seems logical to me that variations in capitalization should be pointing to whatever article is considered the "main article" for that particular spelling and not to another page.Coaster1983 (talk) 03:04, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I remove these because the pages no longer exist

User:Hyperik, your comment of "edit summary was restore links" only describes what was achieved, and not the reason why. You had previously gone over to Eastern wolf and posted a citation supporting the name "Timber wolf", you could have simply stated the reference and "refer Eastern wolf", rather than a somewhat mystifying edit summary. Thought your edit just said "Reverted reversion with no edit summary". Was confused when I searched for timberwolves and "our" wolves had been removed from the page. —Hyperik⌜talk⌟16:11, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
