Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because this individual was a person of significant importance in British Columbia. He built a world class search and rescue team and in doing so received the Order of British Columbia and a honourary doctor of laws. His advocacy, fundraising and practicioner work as both a search and rescue member and paramedic saved thousands of lives in BC. Upon his passing he was giving the equivilent of a state funeral.
